2. What do you believe?

We believe that we are saved by the grace of God alone. Our salvation is through faith alone, and our sins are forgiven for Christ's sake, who died to redeem us. The Bible is the only norm of doctrine and life--the only true standard by which teachings and doctrines are to be judged.

4. Can I take Holy Communion?

Holy Communion is offered to anyone at Kountze who believes in our Lord Jesus Christ as Savior. There is a place at our table for everyone. Holy Communion is offered weekly at all three services (Saturday at 5 p.m. and Sunday at 9 and 11 a.m.).

Our typical form of Holy Communion is by intinction, whereby you receive the consecrated wafer in your hand and dip it into the wine. On occasion, we also serve Holy Communion at the altar railing. The ushers will provide instructions during the service.
